Eligibility Criteria for Appointment of Lecturer on Regular Basis/Contract Basis for all above-mentioned disciplines, other than Law & Fine Arts Discipline:
First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.

Eligibility Criteria for Appointment of Lecturer on Regular Basis/Contract Basis for Law Discipline:
LLB Degree (First Class) from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.

Eligibility Criteria for Appointment of Lecturer on Regular Basis/Contract Basis for Fine Arts Discipline:
First professional degree (4 Years minimum, First Division) from HEC recognized
University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.

Important Note: Lecturer Jobs Islamia University

i. Candidates applying in the discipline of Pharmacy will also submit a copy of the Registration Certificate of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP).
ii. Condition of no 3rd division shall not be applicable if the candidate holds a higher degree Ph.D. or equivalent degree with not more than one 3rd division in an entire academic career.
iii. These posts are non-transferable and purely for respective / mentioned campuses only.
iv. Candidate must submit transcript/detail marks sheet (both front and backside) of MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education.
v. The foreign qualified candidates should attach an Equivalence Certificate from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
vi. In case, a degree has not been issued, a Certificate /Notification to that effect signed by the Controller of Examination (only) of degree-awarding university might be accepted. In all cases, a statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.
vii. All Quotas will be observed as per rule.

How to apply:

i. All the candidates have to apply online through the IUB web link http://eportal.iub.edu.pk
ii. The candidate can apply through the IUB job portal till 02.02.2022, followed by submission of 02 sets of applications bearing a hard copy of duly signed online application form, attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph for each set, and one copy of the online paid challan (non-refundable) amounting of Rs. 1500/- till 02.02.2022 at the mentioned below address.

iii. Candidates already in service should apply through the proper channel, by the due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers, otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
iv. Candidates applying for more than one post/campus/type of appointment (Regular/Contract) shall submit a separate application form(s) along with separate
application processing fee for each Discipline/Campus/type of appointment (Regular/Contract)
2. The university reserves the rights:
i. Not to fill/withdraw any advertised post /withhold the appointment against any post, without assigning any reason thereof or consider a person for appointment in a lower cadre against the post advertised.
ii. To shortlist the candidates on the basis of academic qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
iii. To increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per availability of funds/ seats in the budget.
iv. Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the University.
v. These posts will be filled subject to the approval of the Competent Authority.
vi. The University is not responsible if call letters are not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency /Post Office/Telephonic Message or call.
3. Hard copies of online applications will be received only through registered mail/courier etc. by hand application will not be accepted. IUB employees willing to apply are directed to submit their applications through the proper channel.
4. All others in service applicants will have to attach NOC and service certificate from their employer along with the application, an advance copy of the application will not be entertained.
5. Applicants are directed to clearly mention the Name of the Post/Campus/type of appointment on the top right corner of the envelope.
6. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
